The Warren G. Harding Presidential Home and Memorial (740-387-9630) is located in Marion. President Harding conducted his famous "front-porch" campaign at this residence. The Memorial is a short drive from the Harding home. View the final resting place of President William Henry Harrison at the Harrison Tomb State Memorial in the town of North Bend (513-941-3490). North Bend, located in the southwestern corner of the state, was the residence of both the nation's ninth president, William Henry Harrison, and his grandson, Benjamin Harrison, the twenty-third president.
Com. Page 45 9 Buzzards and More in Medina County Each year on March 15, a pack of hardy, curious souls heads for the cornfields at Hinckley Reservation. Their mission: to await the return of the buzzards. Like clockwork, the buzzards appear at the park in search of food. Rocking and tilting their six-foot wings, the large, two-toned, blackish birds are visible for several miles on a clear winter's morn. The reservation, part of the Cleveland Metroparks system, features a combination of rock ledges, open fields, and forests.
